The New Atlantic Dunes Course in Sea Pines Resort is Opening in October
A complete redesign, reconstruction and recreation by Davis Love III is coming to the Island’s first golf course, Ocean Course, was entirely rebuilt to accommodate modern shot values and to frame scenic corridors. The playing surface is a blend of cutting-edge grasses, matching those strains of Sea Pines’ famed Harbour Town Golf Links and Heron Point Course.
The Historic Bluffton Arts & Seafood Festival
This week-long event (October 15 – 23) showcases locally-harvested seafood, history, hospitality, art and cuisine of the Lowcountry. In its 12th year, there will be an “Iron Chef” competition, concerts, book signings, races, boat parade and tours and more.

Beaufort Shrimp Festival
The festival is set to take place September 30, from 6 to 10 p.m, to October 1, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This free event held at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park is a partnership between SC Shrimper’s Association and Main Street Beaufort. Live entertainment, a 5K race, Shrimp Heading and Shrimp Peeling contests make this a don’t-miss event!

Polo for Charity in Rose Hill
Rose Hill Equestrian Center will host Polo for Charity starting at noon on October 23. The match starts at 2 p.m. and tickets are $20 at the gate or $15 in advance. Children under 12 receive free admission.

Pumpkin Patch Festival

Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance
The Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance returns to the Island for its 15th year from November 4 – 6 at the Port Royal Golf Club.
The three-day event leads with a Flights & Fancy Aeroport Gala on the 4th at the Hilton Head Island Airport. Enjoy vintage aircraft, live music, food and handcrafted cocktails.
November 5th brings the Hilton Head Island Auction by Auctions America with nearly 125 cars up for bid as well as a display of historic and rare Anderson Motor Company cars and European classics including Bugatti and Alfa Romeo. Don’t miss this event!
