2019 Annual Back-to-School Events
The Bluffton Area Community Association is hosting its “9th Annual Back –To- School Fun Day” for our families in our community. It will be held Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 from 11:00am until 4:00pm AT OSCAR FRAZIER PARK, 77 SCHULTS ROAD, BLUFFTON, SC 29910.
There will be free dental screening, fun for the entire family with face painting, putt-putt, games, waterslide, bounce houses, inflatables, giveaways, food and much more. Everything is FREE!!!
WORKSHOPS for parents/guardians who want to receive a FREE backpack filled with school supplies for their child(ren) must attend 1:00PM session or 2:00pm session.

ALSO, Hilton Head Area Realtors are collecting supplies for the School Supply Drive, from now until August 9th. This drive benefits Hilton Head, Bluffton and Hardeeville students. You can drop off at either the Hilton Head or Bluffton Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices offices, located at 23C Shelter Cove Lane in Hilton Head OR 212 Bluffton Rd in Bluffton. Back to School Expo at Battery Creek High School will be hosting vendors from all over Beaufort county to assist you with your back to school needs on Saturday, August 10th 2019 at 10:00 am. There will also be prizes and giveaways too. This event will be held at 1 Blue Dolphin Dr, Beaufort, SC 29906.
Lastly, This year’s sales tax holiday weekend begins at 12:01 a.m. Aug. 2 and runs through Aug. 4, during which a variety of back-to-school essentials will be exempt from the state’s 6% sales tax.
