Starting where Sea Pines Plantation ends at South Forest Beach Drive, extending to the north and ending at Shipyard Plantation, Forest Beach is separated by Coligny Circle. Two roads, each running parallel to the Atlantic Ocean mark the division; thus, the sides are known as North Forest Beach and South Forest Beach. Many of the island’s largest and most luxurious homes and vilals are located in Forest Beach, all within a beautiful, panoramic, quiet, non-gated residential neighborhood. Oceanside streets in North Forest Beach run perpendicular to the two main roads and are named, alphabetically, for sea birds, beginning with Avocet and ending with Sandpiper.
