After graduating from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Business in 1978, I moved to Hilton Head Island to work with Lancaster Resort Rentals and Sales. In 1979, I received my Real Estate Brokers License and in 1985 I went to work as a full-time sales agent acting as Broker in Charge of the Sales department.
On a professional level, I was elected as President of the Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors for 2002 and now serve as President of the Multiple Listing Service of Hilton Head for 2004 through 2009. In addition, I have served on the state level as a State Director for the South Carolina Association of Realtors in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
My earlier experience with rental management has given me insight into the needs and desires of the real estate investor. With over 30 years of experience in this market, I can help the investor find the property that is right for their particular level of investment and determine the best time to sell or exchange.

Prior to moving to Hilton Head Island in 1986, I received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Texas State University. I began my career in real estate in 1987 and, along with Randy Smith, purchased Lancaster Real Estate 10 years later.
Having practiced Hilton Head real estate for over 25 years, I have witnessed the ebb and flow of our local—and extraordinarily unique-- market. Predictable, just as the tides, Hilton Head real estate always recovers, charting a steady course of growth and prosperous. This major segment of our local economy has proven to be elastic, durable and quite lucrative in times past-- and the outlook will prove equally productive and advantageous.
I am currently serving as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Hampton Place Villas (an upscale oceanfront villa complex located in the Leamington portion of Palmetto Dunes), Treasurer of the Hilton Head Fishing Club and Treasurer of the Hilton Head Reef Foundation. In my spare time I enjoy fishing, biking and golfing with my son.

My husband and I purchased our lot on Callawassie Island in 1995 and in 2000 we moved here full time from the Western suburbs of Chicago where we had lived for eighteen years. We are both originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan and I have a BS degree in Home Economics and Advertising from Michigan State University. After being a Home Economist for Michigan Consolidated Gas Company, I began my real estate career 31 years ago with West Shell Realtors in Cincinnati, Ohio and from there St. Charles, Illinois where I was with Re/Max Professionals for 15 years. Since moving to Callawassie Island, I was with Re/max Sea Island and Re/max Island Realty for ten years, specializing in listing and selling at Callawassie! We first came to the Hilton Head area back in 1979 and absolutely fell in love with the lifestyle of the Low Country, its people and its weather! Being both golfers and tennis players, we knew this was the area we wanted to live in eventually! In 1995, while visiting with Cincinnati friends on Hilton Head, we found our “little piece of paradise” called Callawassie Island! I truly understand what goes into making a lifestyle change after moving around the country both growing up and with my husband who was transferred around the country with his company. Sincerity, integrity, and professionalism with a smile have always been the key ingredients to my success as a real estate agent.

John McMahon came to Hilton Head Island in October 1989. He was attracted to the wealth of quality golf courses and the pleasant climate. John earned his class A status with PGA of America in 1993 and later founded John McMahon's Golf School in 1997. Several of his friends and clients were always asking about real estate opportunities. John realized his knowledge of the Low County and his love of golf could be converted into a living helping people with their real estate needs and wants.

Before moving to Hilton Head, Felice received her BA degree from Mercer University in Macon, GA & her Masters from Georgia State University. She taught at Mercer prior to moving to Atlanta to sell advertising for WSB Radio. I ended up on Hilton Head Island after promising to meet a friend for lunch on my way to Florida for a job transfer. I moved to the Island permanently in February 2000- it wasn't hard leaving Western NY winters behind! I met my husband here and now have 2 boys who are lucky to call this place home. I received my BS in Hospitality Management from the University of South Carolina and worked at the Westin Resort & Spa in various management positions. In 2006, I joined Lancaster Real Estate Sales full time as the Office Manager. I started as a licensed Sales Assistant and have been learning the "ins and outs" of real estate from the best. In addition to Office Manager, I have enjoyed helping friends, family and clients buy & sell real estate in Bluffton and Hilton Head Island.
If I am not at the soccer field watching my sons or husband play, I keep busy with book clubs, St. Francis By The Sea School FSA Board meetings, Mission Work (was able to spend time in Nicaragua), Middle School Youth Group volunteer, and traveling.

In 1987, I graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC with a BS in Business Administration as a marketing major. While going to school in the NC mountains I enjoyed living in a resort community. I decided to try the extreme opposite of the mountain environment and moved to Hilton Head in 1988. When I first moved to the Island, I had planned to go back to the mountains after a few years. Like most Hilton Head Islanders, I fell in love with the Island and living in a coastal area.
In the beginning of my real estate career on the Island, I was a licensed sales assistant for a real estate company. After a year, I had the opportunity to work in the real estate publishing industry with one of the Island's premier real estate publications, Island Real Estate Magazine. In the 21 years with Down South Publishers, having various positions and eventually part owner, I have seen how marketing the real estate industry has changed first hand. Working closely with the real estate community and helping the individual agents with marketing their properties has been a great experience.
I enjoy living the Hilton Head Lifestyle in Hilton Head Plantation with my husband, Dempsey, and our teenage twin daughters.
