Out with the old...in with the newAs the new year gracefully sets into motion, with it comes purposeful and oft-needed resolutions--a time to start anew. Before I start anew, however, I shred the old. I rummage through the seemingly endless boxes of papers and folders to make room for...more papers and folders. My shredder hums as it is gently fed. There is something soothing in the mincing and grating sound of years gone by. Then, I systematically arrange new folders which will clutch my confidentials, document my purchaes and stipulate terms of contracts. In other words, I prepare to conduct business in this new year as I have done each and every year prior. Not business "as usual" but business in the "new normal".
