Shipyard Plantation is located in beautiful South Carolina on Hilton Head Island.  This wonderful 800 acre gated resort and gate community is full of beautiful landscape that accents its fresh water lagoon system, which is home to many reptiles and large bass.  They have many bike trails that will allow you to ride around the plantation and take in the beauty of its scenery and architecture.  Shipyard is full of tranquility, which makes it a perfect vacation spot.

If you're in the area around November 27th, you may enjoy the 7th Annual Fishing Tournament held at Fish Island in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve, which isn't far from Shipyard.  It starts at 10 am and goes to 1 pm.  There will be prizes for the winners and a hot dog and marshmallow roast for everyone to enjoy.
