Palmetto Dunes short sales are at price points between $179,900 to $4,495,999 include luxury oceanfront homes and villas, golf properties throughout the plantation, as well as homes and villas with wooded and lagoon views.  With a marked improvement in sales over those in 2011 and 2010, however, the market is showing signs of tightening, with short sales and Palmetto Dunes foreclosures quickly going under contract.  Vacation and investment property purchases have increased as interested buyers are no longer waiting for seller/lender price decreases.
