Hilton Head real estate prices moved higher during the month of July as the Median Sales Price increased 2.9% with a healthy 25.7% rise in closed sales for the same period.  Inventory was reduced by 19.1%, further stabilizing the supply-demand balance.  Fewer days on the market for Hilton Head homes for sale,  cheap borrowing costs (a 30-year fixed mortgage recently dipped below the 3.49% mark), and increasing consumer confidence are fueling area real estate sales on the Island and in neighboring Bluffton.
